Amnay releases a new song called .. Anzul Blues

Une jeune voix engagée et innovante venant tout droit de la vallée des roses du Sud-est marocain, Kelaat M’gouna, Amnay a ainsi choisi de renouer les liens  avec le grand  public en produisant son nouvel opus intitulé «ANZUL BLUES ». Fidèle à sa démarche créatrice et à sa touche artistique singulière, le chanteur  a toujours porté  la voix de l’émancipation de la chanson amazighe.

Ses inspirations sont multiples,  Amnay puise ses chansons  dans l’héritage oral amazighe, dans  ses rythmes, ses mélodies traditionnelles et historiques de l’art de l’« Ahidouss » ; tout en y ajoutant une touche de modernité avec dublues. « ANZUL BLUES » reprend en effet différents poèmes hérités d’une culture profonde et variée et du vécu de l’homme et de la femme amazighs.

Par ailleurs, les mélodies de cette chanson reprennent tantôt l’art du «Timnadin» et tantôt celui du Blues à influence africaine.

 «J’ai choisi la musique et le chant pour faire connaître la culture amazighe ici et ailleurs. C’est une fierté ! Or, le renouveau de la musique amazighe, tout en gardant ses spécificités historiques et son authenticité, lui donnera un nouveau souffle, et rapprochera les jeunes de plusieurs arts comme « Ahidouss » et « Timnadin » ». », confie l’artiste.  Et d’ajouter : « il faut que la musique amazighe puisse suivre le rythme et se moderniser en étant constamment enrichie.  Incontestablement, ceci l’aidera à prendre ce nouveau souffle pour plus de popularité, spécialement chez les jeunes ».

Amnay est l’un des artistes pionniers dans l’émancipation et la modernisation de la chanson amazighe.  Il a entamé sa carrière artistique il y a quinze ans. L’artiste compte à son actif quatre albums et des participations artistiques locales, régionales, nationales et internationales dans des pays comme la Suisse, la France, l’Algérie, la Tunisie et les États Unis.

“Anzul Blues” is a song that belongs to the past and to the future at the same time, a great fusion between ancestral Amazigh poetry and African modern blues. easy lyrics and understandable vocabulary on electric guitars, bass, and drums without forgetting the traditional Amazigh percussions called “Alloun” (a fundamental instrument in Amazigh folk music), a combination that gives a new sight to Amazigh oral Heritage.
as Amnay declared: “I chose music and singing to introduce the world to my Amazigh culture, which I am proud of, and I am sure that the renewal of the traditional Amazigh songs will give them a new life and bring them closer to the younger generations who did not have the opportunity to hear and chant the folk songs of Ahidous, Timnadin and Tamawayt…” He added: “The Amazigh Artists Must keep pace with modernity and keep looking for new musical styles that will give our ancestral musical heritage a new breath and more popularity especially among young people.”

Amnay is considered one of the first artists to play Modern Amazigh Music, for more than fifteen years, with a repertory of four albums, and several participations in national and international festivals such as in Switzerland, France, Algeria, Tunisia, and the USA.
