… World : random drawing 2022 for Morocco

Morocco is placed in Hat 3 for the final draw for the 2022 World Cup, which will take place on Friday at the Doha Exhibition Center (Qatar).

The 28 teams already qualified are distributed according to sporting criteria in pots numbered from 1 to 4 on the basis of the FIFA World Ranking which was just published on Thursday.

As hosts, Qatar is seeded (position A1) in Pot 1, where it will be joined by the top seven qualified teams in the World Ranking.

The next eight teams in the order of the classification (teams 8 to 15) are into pot 2 and teams 16 to 23, including Morocco, join pot 3.

Finally, pot 4 includes teams 24 to 28 as well as the two teams “to be determined” corresponding to the winners of the intercontinental play-offs and the team “to be determined” corresponding to the winner of the last UEFA play-off.

The intercontinental play-offs are scheduled for June 13 and 14 in Qatar.
The draw starts from 4 p.m. and it will be broadcast on TMC and Bein Sports.
